Vassell & O’Hare add boost to the Bay.

Byron Bay Rugby are one win away from securing their third consecutive Finals campaign.

After a big home win against rivals, Lennox Head Trojans on Saturday gave the bay that extra edge.
With Co-Captain Craig Wallace, Will Aisake and Evan Mallory all absent, Byron Bay really stood up to take it to the Trojans.

Returning veteran players Ed O’Hare had a great game running forward and leading on the front foot. In the backs, the inform Romey Vassell has proved he still has the pace and power in his third consecutive game for the Bay after injury struck his 2016 season.
Some powerful runs and try-saving defence from Vassell really made a difference in the midfield.

Byron Bay now travel to Brunswick Head on Saturday to face Casuarina Beach, who have had a few new recruits themselves.
