“We’ve got more nationalities than the Paris agreement”
Byron Bay Rugby head to Lismore City this Saturday to take on Lismore RFC.
The Bay has recruited a few more imports for this game to bolster the roster.
South African flyer Willie Le Roux has flown over after his Premiership Final with Wasps at Twickenham last weekend.
“It doesn’t just stop there.” Said Co-Captain Craig Wallace. “Lismore thinks we have just English, French & Irish players, but they’re missing a few. We’ve got more nationalities than the Paris Agreement.”
“Joining Willie is Wasps alumni Trevor Leota who is playing on the wing for the Sandcrabs” Said Reserve Captain Roberto Lynch.
“Oh, and don’t forget Jonah Lomus third cousin. We haven’t met him yet but if he’s related to the Big Man he must be good, right?” replied Wallace.
Welsh wizard Owain Roberts retains his Full Back position for Byron Bay after a great performance last weekend again Casuarina.
“I can’t believe I wasn’t mention in all this Lismore hype” said the Welshman.
“Don’t they know we’re the best?”
The Sandcrabs will be itching for a big game after narrowly losing to Reserve Premiers Mullumbimby Moonshiners, whilst Byron Bay 1sts will be looking to secure another win to get their season back on track.
